1929  B&D Special #1 Vintage Tenor banjo! This is a really clean and nice example. The finish is original. It has no breaks, damages or repairs. This rare and sought after banjo can be converted to a great five string! This Special really rings out with a great sounding heavy pot. The tail piece is an original and rare Grover Presto. The tuners are the original Grovers! There are 25 lugs.
The Banjo sets up, plays and sounds absolutely great! The condition is overall very fine with minor wear only. It includes the original case in great shape. The case has been painted black along time ago which helped to keep it in such nice shape. This beauty has great looking inlays and a gorgeous Walnut body. It’s amazing to find something this old in fabulous condition like this!
