This is a scarce figural advertising knife in the shape of a Goodyear Balloon All Weather Tire. The grips are alpaca alloy and have superb detail. It was made by R.Hartkopf , Solingen Germany. Marked on both blades with Trade mark and 1a
stamp f
or the first quality product indication. The blades are tight and have good snap.
Found at an estate sale in Vienna, not sure of its exactly history other than it came for an estate of a world traveler and antiques collector.
It measures 3" long with fold blades.
