    Description

    This wooden crate measuring 27.5" x14" x14" is very sturdy. This is an amazing crate. It would make a great coffee table as the lid is attached.  This crate is really open on the bottom because of the writing on the crate.  "A J Anderson" is written on the side of the crate.  He was the owner of a general store in Leeds Point, NJ.
    A.J. Anderson was the recipient of the crate.
    He was the owner of my home which was built in the 1880's.  We have found several such items that had been used as display boxes in the store or had shipped supplies to the store.  The Goodyear trade mark is on the one end of the box.
