This is a neat pair of
replica/copy
five and ten dollar National Bank Notes from the late nineteenth century issued by the National Bank of Commerce in St. Louis Missouri. The five dollar bill features President James Garfield, who was honored after his assassination in 1882. The ten dollar bill has Benjamin Franklin and his son "discovering electricity". The backs are printed in a unique brown. These bills are from the "horse-blanket era when US Currency was large sized.
These are replicas of actual bills, not copies of 2nd hand scans, printed on high quality 100% cotton paper. These sets make great gifts and are ideal for framing as you can display each side at the same time. Each side is printed on a separate sheet per eBay policy and to comply with Federal law,

(10 3/8 X 4 3/8") than the actual note. Keep in mind the real bills from which the copies are made, were much larger than a dollar bill of today. They are not the same size, please do not expect that they be double sided and the same size as a real bill. That is illegal and it is illegal to sell counterfeits. They're as close as you can get without buying the real bill. The blank backs are imprinted with "COPY" These replicas (copies) have no value and are not real money.
